Energy Concepts is a fully integrated solar distributor specializing in solar electric (PV) and solar hot water systems.  We can take your project from the design phase up to completion, eliminating the need to work with different contractors.  Our experience runs from the installation of solar to roofing to residential homebuilding.  Our staff of licensed solar and roofing contractors and trained solar designers work together to build the safest and most efficient system for our clients.  

We specialize in residential and small commercial (less than 25kw) systems and have installed over 250 kw of solar power over the last year and a half.  Our systems have appeared in numerous publications, and one of our principles, Ted Koster, was awarded “The First Green Family” by the City of Plantation.  

Solar is our passion, and we believe strongly in practicing what we preach and testing systems in real world situations.  In addition to Ted’s home, we have also installed a 5.4 kw system in our office.  Our system allows us the ability to test equipment as well as provide real world data on production.  We are happy to report, net metering is a reality and we actually received credits in the months of January and February of this year.

We believe in practicing what we preach.  Here is a shot of our rooftop.  We installed 30 Evergreen 185 watt panels and a Sonny Boy 5000 inverter.  The system provides approximately 75% of our power.
